 Scholastic Book Club

This month's Scholastic Reading Club flyers are ready for you to explore with your child. Children read more when they choose their own books, so the Director encourages you to look at the flyers together!

Listed below are this month’s flyers and the ages they are targeted for:

  • Early Childhood: Birth – Four years
  • Firefly: Prek – Kindergarten
  • SeeSaw: Kindergarten – Grade 1
How to order online:
  • You can order anytime, right up until the order due date. RSG submits the orders to Scholastic for processing at the end of that school day. If orders are placed after 12:00pm on the deadline, your books may not be included in the order and may not arrive until the next Scholastic order is placed.
  • Go to https://orders.scholastic.com/GXJGF Using this website ensures that your order will be placed with Ready, Set, Grow! and delivered to our school.
    • New to Scholastic? Select “Sign In” then “I’m a new customer” and create an account. If asked for a Class Activation Code, enter GXJGF.
    • Already a Scholastic Member? Use your existing login. If you are asked for the Class Activation Code, enter GXJGF.
  • Place your order online using a credit card. After the school orders have been placed, your books will be delivered to Ready, Set, Grow and placed in your child’s cubby to take home.
Paying by check:
  • Complete the order form located at the back of the flyer, write a check made payable to Scholastic Book Clubs and return it to the Ready, Set, Grow office. When the books arrive, your order will be placed in your child’s cubby to take home.

In addition to great savings for you, RSG earns bonus points with each order. Through our bonus points we are able to obtain free books and other educational resources for our classrooms and school. Thank you for your orders!

School closing information & Winter Weather Advisory

  1. If Brockport Central Schools are closed due to weather we will also be closed. If BCS is delayed one hour, we will be delayed one hour. If BCS is delayed 2 or more hours, we will be closed. Our closings will be posted on 13WHAM-TV and WHAM 1180.
  2. If the weather is poor and BCS does not close, the preschool may still close. Check out 13WHAM-TV and/or WHAM 1180. The Director will also send out an email to notify you. Please let us know if you would like to add another email to our current listing.
  3. Please be very careful on sidewalks and in the parking lot. Even though we plow and salt, the walkways may be slippery.
  4. Please be sure that the Pre-School office has current home and cell phone numbers. It is critical that the school is able to reach you in case of any emergency or child illness.
  5. During the winter months, weather permitting, teachers may take children outside. Please dress your child appropriately for outside play. The teachers may ask that you bring in snow pants/suits as well.
