Our Mission Statement

Ready, Set, Grow! Preschool (RSG) is dedicated to providing preschool-aged children an enriching experience in a safe, enjoyable and loving environment that prepares them for kindergarten.

Our Purpose

RSG fosters an enthusiasm for learning. Children are lovingly encouraged to develop and grow socially, academically, emotionally and physically, while accounting for each child’s individual needs and abilities. It is a special place where children feel secure and the love of Christ is demonstrated in all aspects of the school.

Our History

RSG began in September 1987 under the direction of Donna Gilbert. There was a class for three-year olds and a class for four-year olds. Today we have five classes which serve two-year olds, three- and four-year olds, Pre-Kindergarten, and a grant funded Universal Pre-Kindergarten class through the Brockport Central School and Holley Central School districts.

Our Motto

“Kindergarten Readiness is Our Goal.”

I have 3 children that have attended Ready Set Grow Preschool. We have enjoyed the 2/3 yr olds, 3/4 yr olds and my oldest attended the 4yr old UPK program. We love the teachers and office staff! They ALWAYS go above and beyond to make this first encounter with school/ education fun, safe and comfortable for you and your child. Ready Set Grow! is a great place to start your child's love for learning!

Both of my children attended Ready, Set, Grow! Preschool for a total of five years. I loved the learning and teaching environment. The teachers loved and cared for each one of the kids. I have so many wonderful memories and continue to display some of the crafts around my house that they made. Lessons were planned with so much fun and learning. My children were always happy to be headed to school. The very best part is the care and time the staff puts into the programs, and the class performances that they put on for the families.

Simply an amazing preschool! The staff are kind and friendly, always greeting with a smile. The teachers are wonderfully loving and fun. When my son first started, he was scared to be away from me and his teacher would just snuggle him. It brought him (and me) comfort and trust. It's not always an easy thing to leave your child with new people, but I believe Ready, Set, Grow! Preschool to be a safe place where I know my child is in good hands. He has blossomed and learned so much already. Plus, he LOVES going to school here. And if he is happy then Mama is happy too!

My oldest child is currently in the 3/4s class and absolutely loves it! I was nervous about enrolling her at first, as she has a speech delay and can become easily frustrated when struggling to communicate, but the teachers have been so patient and helpful. You can tell they really care about the kids and take the time to help each and every one. My daughter always comes home happy and with stories about how much fun school is. The office staff is also very nice and easy to work with. I will definitely be signing my younger child up at Ready, Set, Grow! in the future.
